Lou Volpe

Mr. Volpe is the Managing General Partner at Kodiak Venture Partners. Prior to joining Kodiak, he was President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of ArrowPoint Communications where he was responsible for all of ArrowPoint's functional organizations and focused on managing worldwide operations to achieve company growth objectives. ArrowPoint had a successful IPO in March 2000 and was acquired by Cisco Systems for $5.5 billion in June 2000.

Prior to joining ArrowPoint, Volpe was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing and a member of the Board of GeoTel Communications, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in June 1999. He joined GeoTel early in its developmental stage and was a major contributor in building its worldwide sales and marketing presence. He was also instrumental in guiding the company through its IPO and eventual $2 billion acquisition. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations for Parametric Technology Corporation from 1989 to 1994. Before Parametric, he was an executive at Prime Computer. He has been an active investor and board member of a number of companies including Atria (acquired by Pure) and Softdesk (acquired by Autodesk).

He is a member of the boards of directors for Kodiak portfolio companies including airwide solutions; Azimuth Systems; Egenera; GTESS; HighRoads; K-Motion Interactive; Newforma; and SpaceClaim.

Alex Gregory

Alex Gregory joined Egan-Managed Capital in 2000. He has over a dozen years of operations and finance experience with growth companies. As a partner at Egan-Managed Capital, Alex serves on the Board of Directors of Genalytics, HighRoads and VXI. Formerly, he worked closely with Conjoin (acquired: Intranets) and served on the board of Monetrics (acquired: J.M Family Enterprises) and Sprockets. In addition to evaluating new business plans, Alex is working closely with Softrax and Whaleback Systems.

Previously, Alex headed Boston Beer Company's expansion efforts in Australia and the Pacific Rim. He concentrated on forming and formalizing distributor relationships, building their marketing and sales efforts, and growing that business. Prior to Boston Beer Company, Alex worked in the Corporate Finance Group while at Alex. Brown & Sons. His banking experience included M&A activity, IPO's and Secondary Offerings. Alex earned his AB in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School and his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Jay Corscadden

Mr. Corscadden has worked extensively with emerging growth technology companies. While at Adams Harkness, he focused on advising technology companies with respect to raising public and private equity capital and in mergers and acquisitions transactions. During that tenure, he helped his clients successfully complete more than $2.8 billion of transaction volume. Until joining the Fund full time in early 2001, Corscadden spent nearly seven years as an investment banker in the Technology Group at Adams Harkness. Currently he manages the Firm's investments in Endeca, HighRoads, ChipWrights, and Blacksmith Applications.

Corscadden began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he served a number of technology clients, among others. After two years with KPMG, he joined Siemens-Nixdorf Information Systems, where he spent the majority of his time in that firm's software and consulting division. He graduated from Providence College, and received his M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

William Burgess

Mr. Burgess has 25 years of experience in venture capital and corporate finance. Immediately prior to joining ABS, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Deutsche Bank Venture Partners. He has also served as Vice Chairman of Global Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank, and Global Co-Head of Industry Groups Investment Banking and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Alex. Brown and Sons. Burgess is a board member of Adeptra LTD and most recently served on the Boards of Clearforest (acquired by Reuters PLC) and PowerDsine (NASDAQ:PSDN, acquired by Microsemi). He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New England Aquarium and Trustee and Treasurer of St. Marks's School. He received his BA from Dartmouth College and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Paul R. Daoust

Paul is Chairman of the Board and CEO of HighRoads. Paul has helped define HighRoads as a disruptive technology solution in the F500 marketplace to gain greater efficiency, productivity and cost savings for historically manual and time intensive processes. In this role, Paul is the Industry visionary helping to drive the strategic direction of HighRoads to serve its customers and partners.

Paul is a recognized leader in the HR consulting and insurance industries. He spent 30 years with Watson Wyatt Worldwide, one of the world's leading human resource consulting firms, in a variety of consulting and management roles including Chief Operating Officer. On Paul's watch, Watson Wyatt's worldwide consulting operations doubled revenues and tripled profits while cementing the worldwide alliance with the blue chip consultancy R Watson & Sons. Most recently, Paul served as chairman and CEO of GRX Technologies, Inc., a software company focused on supply chain management for the commercial insurance industry.

Paul currently sits on the Boards of Gevity (NASDAQ: GVHR) and Salary.Com (NASDAQ: SLRY) and the Advisory Boards of Brodeur Worldwide and LaborMetrix and was formerly on the board of advisors of Contact Networks(acquired by Thomson Corporation).

Paul has a Bachelor of Mathematics from Boston College and a Master of Actuarial Science with distinction from the University of Michigan Business School. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Michael Byers

Mike is President & COO of HighRoads. Mike oversees sales, services, marketing, product development and finance. Mike has led HighRoads transformation from an enterprise software company to a software as a service organization.

Mike was previously CEO of Centive, a founding company in the Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) market. Mike raised in excess of $70 million in venture capital, built the management team and grew revenue from zero to in-excess of $25 million. Prior to joining Centive, Mike served as CFO and VP Finance for NuMega Technologies, Inc where he negotiated the sale of the company to Compuware (NASDAQ; CPWR) for $150 million. Mike has also held senior finance positions in the software industry including SQA, Inc., and Object Design, Inc.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Cum Laude with a BA in Accounting and a minor in Economics. Mike is also a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
