Michael Byers CEO & President

Michael Byers CEO and President

Mike is CEO and President of HighRoads. He is the visionary helping to drive the strategic direction of HighRoads as the only company giving the world's largest employers complete control over their health care costs and compliance. Mike oversees sales, services, marketing, product development and finance. While at HighRoads he has lead the transformation of the Company from a software company to a technology enabled services organization.

Mike was previously CEO of Centive, a founding company in the Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) market, while at Centive he raised in excess of $70 million in venture capital, built the management team and grew revenue from zero to in-excess of $25 million. Prior to joining Centive, Mike served as CFO and VP Finance for NuMega Technologies, Inc where he negotiated the sale of the company to Compuware (NASDAQ; CPWR) for $150 million. Mike has also held senior finance positions in the software industry including SQA, Inc., and Object Design, Inc.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Cum Laude with a BA in Accounting and a minor in Economics. Mike is also a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Larry Whitman Chief Financial Officer

Larry Whitman Chief Financial Officer

Larry is responsible for managing the company's financial and administrative infrastructure and ensuring the company runs efficiently and productively.

He brings to HighRoads more than 25 years of financial and high technology industry experience. Larry joins the company from Colubris Networks, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent WLAN solutions for leading wireline and wireless carriers and enterprises. While at Colubris, Larry raised over $40 million in equity and debt financing, built infrastructure to allow the company to scale operations and closed an acquisition.

Previously, Larry was chief financial officer at Eggrock Partners, where he managed the company through a $250 million acquisition by Breakaway Solutions and was corporate controller and vice president of finance with Shiva Corporation where he was a key participant in the companys IPO and secondary offering.

Earlier in his career, Larry held senior financial positions at Index Technology, Cullinet Software, Reed Holdings and Ernst & Young, LLP, where he earned his certified public accountant license.

Larry graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Lori Dustin Chief Marketing Officer

Lori Dustin Chief Marketing Officer

Lori shapes the strategic direction of HighRoads' marketing initiatives. She draws on a proven leadership ability to drive rapid company growth in emerging markets, and ensures HighRoads' solutions continue to significantly improve critical benefits management and performance for large employers across all industries.

Lori brings more than 15 years of experience in product marketing, business development and sales for fast-growth companies. Prior to joining HighRoads, she was vice president of marketing for Verano, Inc, a leading provider of SCADA and security solutions for mission-critical organizations. There she led the company's successful entry into the security market, launching the first software and services suite designed for industrial control environments. In the three years that followed, she spearheaded eight market-defining product launches and several major acquisitions.

Earlier in her career, she held executive roles at Cerylion, Inc., Virtue3D, Inc., freshmarketing.net, Narrative Communications, Inc. and Data Translation Inc.

She holds a Bachelor of Sciences in marketing management from Bentley College and has completed the American Electronics Association Executive Program from Stanford University.

Vikki Kolbe SVP, Development & Delivery

Vikki Kolbe SVP, Development & Delivery

Vikki leads the company's development and client service teams. Her teams deliver a powerful combination of technology and services that enable employers to gain control their health care costs.

Vikki has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, services and corporate operational management. With roots in security and information protection she brings a unique perspective to the intersection of business compliance, operational management and pragmatic technology implementations. Throughout her career, she has applied her knowledge to focus on delivering quality solutions and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Prior to joining HighRoads, Vikki held executive position at CycleBridge Technologies, Affinnova, Navisite, Allaire and Visibility. She has won numerous awards for her efforts including being named top ISV for Oracle, top ISV for Cognos and top partner for Hewlett Packard while she ran product development and services at Visibility. While at Allaire Corporation, the company was awarded one of the top 10 companies in the U.S. for the sophistication of its self service technical support website, an area she was in charge of.

Vikki has a B.A. in English from SUNY Oswego, and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Bentley College.

Marc Salois VP, Sales

Marc Salois VP, Sales

Marc has day to day responsibility for growing & managing HighRoads Sales, Account Management, and Business Development team.

Prior to HighRoads, Marc had spent over five years at Akibia, where he managed the CRM supplier's overall revenue achievement. Marc held the title of Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. He was responsible for major account wins such as TIAA CREF, Group Health, Akamai Technology and Bose, and for brokering strategic relationships with Siebel Systems and Microsoft. Prior to Akibia Marc has held senior sales positions at Open Environment Corp, Sapient, Brio and Keane Consulting.

Marc is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a degree in Medical Technology.

Jane Schreck, Principal

Jane Schreck, Principal

Jane is a Principal with over 28 years of HR experience in strategic consulting, management of outsourcing implementations and ongoing engagements, benefits and actuarial consulting, and process redesign.

Jane has managed more than 15 multi-service benefits outsourcing implementations and change management initiatives using highly effective project governance standards and best practices to ensure on time delivery within budget and successful transitions to ongoing operations.

She was a Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers responsible for a $40 million outsourcing relationship and worked successfully to simplify and streamline administration by reengineering benefits delivery to align with firm's "best practices".

She was a client relationship manager at Hewitt responsible for the implementation of their first multi-service benefits outsourcing client of the firm and has managed a consulting services line of business for integrated actuarial, communications, and benefits consulting/plan design for $500 million HR outsourcing firm.

Peter Hirano, Principal

Peter Hirano, Principal

Peter is a thought leader and strategic consultant who provides a perspective on global HR outsourcing that can only result from a long history in the industry.

He has spent his entire 20 year career in HR Outsourcing, Operations, Systems and Product Management.

Peter most recently held senior executive positions with Convergys Corporation where he had global responsibility for product management, product strategy, strategic planning, marketing and implementations.

During his tenure, Convergys became the leading global provider of integrated outsourced Human Resource solutions for Fortune 500 companies and signed contracts valued at $1.4 Billion in 2005.

Previously, Peter was a partner at both KPMG Consulting Inc. (now BearingPoint) and Hewitt.

Peter holds a Master of Management in human resources and marketing from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Josh Miley, Principal, H&W Consulting

Josh Miley, Principal, H&W Consulting

Josh is the national lead for the HighRoads health and welfare consulting practice focused on delivering high valued strategic and practical solutions for clients in an efficient manner leveraging the HighRoads technology platform.

Josh has spent his entire career in the H&W consulting marketplace most recently holding a senior consulting position with Towers Perrin where he assisted clients with activities ranging from plan design pricing, strategy development, plan financing, vendor management and performance, clinical informatics, and cost sharing strategies.

While at Towers Perrin he developed and collaborated on pricing, measurement and benchmarking tools used by consultants nationwide. Josh designed a financial budgeting and tracking application which became the standard of practice at his prior firm. Moreover, he has developed client specific reporting tools that correlate and combine detailed utilization and financial information provided by the client's vendors.

Josh has collaborated closely with many Fortune 500 clients across varying industries to achieve their population health, cost and engagement targets.

Josh has a B.A in Human Resources and Risk Management from Temple University and is a nationally licensed health and welfare broker.
