Implementation Consultant

Reports to Director of Support Services & Training - Woburn, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

The Implementation Consultant is an integral part of our Client Services & Support Team who supports project managers as they identify Fortune 100 client health and welfare business requirements. The IC role configures our ASP benefits management solution to meet client needs, and delivers implementation services required by clients. In most cases, candidates will be located in our Woburn corporate headquarters, and will travel (up to 25%) while supporting project managers at client sites. This role requires content manipulation skills and attention to detail. The role also includes customer facing responsibility which requires good communication skills. In addition to project responsibilities, the Implementation Consultant must also be able to identify and document best practice methodologies that clearly define the most efficient way to meet the client deliverables. The role will also perform application and domain knowledge transfer to the HighRoads team.

HighRoads is a fast-growing application service provider staffed by experienced people with domain expertise in corporate benefits, technology and process reengineering. We provide the "system of record" for human resources benefits program and supplier information.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Ability to effectively and efficiently configure software solutions.
  2. Ability to learn new applications quickly from both formal and informal studies and training.
  3. Excellent prioritization and time management skills. Ability to work as a team member or independently to solve complex problems with little supervision or guidance.
  4. Ability to provide guidance to customers in the assessment and implementation of our solution.
  5. Able to effectively communicate technical configuration concepts to non-technical users (both internal and external).
  6. Ability to train others (formally and informally).
  7. Ability to work in a cross functional environment.
  8. Health and welfare benefits knowledge would be beneficial.
  9. Experience working for a benefit consulting firm, health insurance company, or a related field in customer support or implementation a plus.
