Paul Daoust Receives Service Award for Volunteerism and Dedication to Boston School
BOSTON (Jan. 27 , 2006) - Paul Daoust, Chairman and CEO of HighRoads, has been honored with the Raymond J. Callahan S.J. Service Award for his volunteerism with the Nativity Preparatory School in Jamaica Plain, Mass.
Nativity Prep is dedicated to providing a quality, tuition-free education to boys of all faiths from low-income Boston families. Founded in 1990, the Jesuit middle school provides a highly structured, challenging education that prepares students for admission to prestigious high schools and for the rigors of a college education.
The Raymond J. Callahan S.J. Service Award is given annually to an individual whose volunteerism and dedication to furthering the school's values goes above-and-beyond the call of duty.
"Local businesses and community assets, like Nativity Prep, are inextricably tied," said Daoust. "I am proud and honored to support this valuable educational resource, and help strengthen the fabric of the Boston community."
Daoust is a distinguished business and community leader. He built his career in the 70's and 80's growing the Boston office of Watson Wyatt Worldwide, one of the world's leading human resource consulting firms, and led the firm worldwide as COO during the 90's. He has also served on the boards of more than 10 early and mid-stage technology companies.
