Brian Kim, President & CEO
Brian has been guiding HighRoads’ transformation into a strong and cutting-edge market leader since July 2016. He is an innovative and accomplished leader in the health care industry, bringing decades of experience and expertise to his role at HighRoads. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Brian’s energy, customer focus, and strategic vision helped drive a restructuring of ikaSystems, leading to its successful acquisition by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. As CEO of HighRoads, he has continued his steady, repeated successes growing top line revenue, building strategic partnerships, delivering effective marketing and communications strategies, reengineering products, and leading client management teams.
In addition to his pivotal roles at HighRoads and ikaSystems, Brian has held leadership and corporate development positions with Medco Health Solutions (Express Scripts), NaviNet (NANTHealth), and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University.
As COO, David brings extensive health care technology experience to HighRoads. David provides leadership and expertise in enterprise software delivery, professional services, product development, and operations. Before joining HighRoads, David was senior vice president of operations and client services at ika Systems where he led project delivery, client services, and technical operations. David’s operational leadership set the stage for the company’s sale to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. David also held senior leadership roles with IMS Health, SDI Health (acquired by IMS Health), NaviNet, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, Cigna Healthcare, Pyramid Software, and the Connecticut Hospital Association Workers’ Compensation Trust. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College.
Cassandra serves as Senior Vice President, Account Development, focused on ensuring that clients realize their goals as well as assisting them in adding capabilities to fulfill their strategic objectives. Having spent her entire career in Healthcare IT across Payer, Provider and Post-Acute sectors, Cassandra brings a depth and breadth of experience to ensure our customers maximize the value of HighRoads’ solutions, and have the tools and industry expertise available to better predict and react to rapidly evolving market and regulatory pressures. Prior to joining HighRoads, Cassandra held several senior leadership roles across implementation services, account management, support, training and user engagement. Most recently, Cassandra served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Homecare Homebase, and held prior key roles at firms such as MedeAnalytics, NaviNet, HealthEdge and D2Hawkeye.Cassandra holds a BA in Computer Science from Lafayette College.
Ajay leads HighRoads’ engineering team and is responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s SaaS products. He has over 20 years of experience in computing, with a proven track record of managing high-performance engineering teams to consistently deliver products on time and on budget. Before joining HighRoads, Ajay was the CTO at Zappix where he was responsible for driving the technology vision and the implementation of all software systems. Prior to Zappix, Ajay was a founding member and Director of Software Engineering at PetPace where he managed a global software development team while guiding cross-functional teams through multiple product releases. Ajay led the creation of a systems team to provide focus and discipline on user experience, performance, and product delivery. Ajay has also held senior engineering roles with FoodieBytes, MIT, Emptoris, and WebCT. In each role, Ajay has shown the capability to combine big-picture thinking with hands-on innovation, considering and reconciling both technical and business viewpoints. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University.
